Morocco is the exotic gateway on Europe’s doorstep, a country located in the Maghreb region of North West Africa with Rabat as its capital and Casablanca the largest city. A kingdom of wonders with four different mountain ranges stretching across the land while long golden beaches line a coast that borders both the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Morocco’s most famous feature, the spectacular Sahara Desert is at the south of the kingdom. Lush oases, cascading rivers and rich vineyards are found throughout the land.

Morocco's predominant religion is Islam and its official languages are Arabic and Berber, the latter became an official language in 2011 and was the native language of Morocco before the Muslim conquestin the seventh century. French and English are also widely spoken. Moroccan culture is a blend of Berber, Arab, Sephardic Jews, West African and European influences.
