One of this season’s main goals for Rhapsody Group is to begin to implement sustainable policies for tourism. Given our company’s crucial role as a major tour operator in the region, we are obliged to help bring our suppliers and destinations on the “green journey” that we have embarked on. 

As this is no simple task, Rhapsody has become a member of Travelife, a leading training, management, and certification initiative for tourism companies committed to reaching sustainability. With the guidance and credibility of Travelife, we are convinced that we will be able to achieve certification, meeting all GSTC requirements, in the very near future.

Our introduction to the program began this past November as our appointed Sustainability Coordinator, Mr. George Siokas, attended Travelife’s annual training seminar in Brighton, UK.  There, our representative was able to familiarize himself with the tasks at hand and was able to successfully network with parties who will surely help make our transition a smooth one.
